Land Rover joins forces with Premiership Rugby side Wasps
Land Rover proudly announced a new partnership with Wasps at the end 2014, adding to our existing partnerships with the Aviva Premiership and Rugby World Cup 2015 and testament to our commitment to developing the game.
Land Rover has become the club’s main partner as they move into an exciting new chapter of their history. In addition to the Land Rover partnership, Wasps also recently announced a move to their new home, Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, as the once nomadic club are now looking to firmly establish themselves in the Midlands.
The partnership with Wasps was a natural fit for Land Rover and the clubs relocation to Coventry means they will now share a home with the brands global headquarters. Land Rover has a proud heritage in the region and already supports a number of local community projects. Wasps moving to the Ricoh Arena has given Land Rover a fantastic opportunity to further strengthen its community links, engaging thousands of employees and Land Rover owners who are also rugby fans.
The club also shares some of Land Rover's core values: determination, integrity and team work, as demonstrated by our activities to develop the sport of rugby and engage with the local community in the Midlands. With nearly 28,000 people attending Wasps' first home match at the Ricoh in December it’s clear they’ve already build a lot of support in the Region.
